Linear Motion Horizontal Vibrating Screen
Linear Motion screens are advanced vibrating screens set at a 3°–10° angle. The screen body vibrates linearly on helical springs, with material flow aided by gravity. Longer retention time on the deck ensures better stratification, screening, and overall efficiency. The stroke can be adjusted to the required level. The general working stroke of an horizontal screen is between 8 to 10 mm for 1000 RPM and 4 to5 mm for 1500 RPM. Design of inclined screens permits changes to this stroke through the change of setting of eccentric mass of electromechanical vibrator. Horizontal screens are generally designed with multi deck arrangements, which allows material to be classified the between 2–5 grade types.
A Linear Motion Horizontal Vibrating Screen is a high-performance screening machine designed for precise separation of bulk materials. Unlike circular screens, it uses straight-line (linear) vibration and is typically installed horizontally or with a very slight inclination.
